ASSISTANT CHIEF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Lake County, IL, is currently recruiting an Assistant Chief Information Technology Officer. Reporting to the Chief Information Technology Officer, this position will assist in directing and coordinating the activities of the Department. The Assistant will also coordinate, evaluate, implement and support the use of technologies with County agencies; administer Lake County government voice communication systems; manage geographical information systems and map services; maintain integrity of the system through administration of security, backup/recovery and systems analysis; and provide technical expertise and support on all technology products and services.
Position requires a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with course work in computer science, business administration, and accounting and ten years of systems analyst, programming and related experience in an information technology environment.
The hiring range is $95,747-$121,140. The County also offers excellent benefits including paid holidays, vacation, sick and personal leave, pension (IMRF) and medical, dental, and life insurance.
